Literally
meaning the “ground of the kings”, Rajasthan is flooded
majestic palates and imposing forts of top regulated
against rich and various topography. However, Rajasthan
is a constraining destination with much grace of
tourists to the excitation produced by the blazing
religious festivals of the state, celebrated with a
color of local enthusiasm.
Rajasthan is with its being shone during the fairs and
the festivals. These festivals are characterized by the
traditional song, dancing with the accompaniment of the
folk music. Some of these festivals such as the festival
of the desert of Jaisalmer and the fair of Pushkar

Nagaur right: Celebrated during February, fair of Nagaur
is the largest market of the cattle of Rajasthan after
Pushkar. A business of weeklong, the fair draws
thousands of camels, cattle, horses and asses and their
owners at a place of edge of lake, which is
north-eastern of 135km of Jodhpur.
Festival of desert: Celebrated in the town of gold of
Jaisalmer, the festival falls I February. A two days
event, the festival attracts thousands of tourists and
races of camel of device, dances of people and
competitions.
Elephant Festival Jaipur: Special in Jaipur, festival of
elephant is celebrated with much enthusiasm. The
processions of caparisoned and brilliantly painted
elephants put the streets of Jaipur at the accompaniment
of the drums and the trumpets. The festival finishes
with excellent “elephants against the mahouts”
tug-of-war.
Festival of Mewar: Corresponding to April and March,
the festival is identical to Udaipur by Ranas.
Gangaur Festival : One of the most famous festivals of
Rajasthan, the festival of Gangaur is celebrated in all
the state. The women request for their husbands, and the
unmarried girls wish the maid. The festival is with its
majority of exubérance in Jaisalmer. The millitorr Abu
is pilot also of this festival in a way of shining,
where effigies of Gauri (Parvati), the husband of Shiva
and Isa (Shiva) are carried by the streets among the joy
and the festivity.
Urs Mela: One of the festivals well-known in
Rajasthan, the fair in Ajmer attracts impassioned
everywhere in the world. Occupied by the people of all
the times, the fair is held to commemorate the life of
Sufi celebrates holy and of the Muin-ud-din Chishti of
professor, which died in Ajmer in 1236.
Diwali: The festival of the lights celebrated
India everywhere. It is of importance particular to the
commercial community, particularly in the area of
Shekhawati. It marks the beginning of the exercise and
